If you're a fan of R.A. Salvatore, and can get to one of the places below, then this post is especially for you. In August (and a tiny bit of September), Salvatore can be found in bookshops and cons across a whole bunch of cities signing copies of his latest book 'Charon's Claw'. I haven't got much of a blurb for you but here it is anyway...
The third book in the Neverwinter Saga, Charon's Claw follows Drizzt Do'Urden as he draws his swords once more to aid his friends. In this final book in the saga, Drizzt assists the beautiful elf Dahlia as she enacts revenge and helps an old foe break the bonds that have held him hostage for more than a hundred years.

I still need to read my copy of 'Neverwinter' (not the best place to start reading about Drizzt but that's the way it goes sometimes). Is it any good?
I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Salvatore a few years ago at a book signing in Colorado. He was super cool and it wasn't rushed at all! I got a free bookmark that I still have to this day too!
ReplyDeleteI adore Drizzt, but Neverwinter was a bit too "all about the fightin'" for me if I'm honest. The first trilogy, "The Dark Elf" set will always be me favourite.
ReplyDeleteThe whole series is excellent, though you could start with Gauntylgrym as the newest series jumps forward in time considerably
