It kind of ties in with all his other 'fantasy' type books , dark tower, the stand, eye of the dragon, dark house etc. Out of all the books ive just mentioned the talisman is one of the best. It flits from the real to the fantasy world in what is a real good adventure story. I think this is one of the books that gets overlooked quite unfairly.
