I know there are differing opinions on it so I guess it's a good way to check the book out without parting with any cash :o)Graeme Floryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15411505049326440010noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8679457768571800783.post-36150917265034635402009-05-15T12:45:00.000+01:002009-05-15T12:45:00.000+01:00Hm. It was supposed to be a tale about deep emotions, about vengeance and passion, but the author didn't manage to get them across. Since they were the sole motivation of the main character, she felt flat to me. I usually don't care if the main character is likeable or not, but he/she has to be fascinating and the motivations have to be persuasive. Maledicte is neither.
The setting felt like cardboard as well.

In my opinion "Maledicte" was released too early. I would have liked to read the story after Robins had time to polish her skills.

Btw, did you know that "The Patriot Witch" is available as a free download on the author's homepage?hwmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14802365544516747923noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8679457768571800783.post-55604001514711799382009-05-14T23:35:00.000+01:002009-05-14T23:35:00.000+01:00A nine from you. Most of the characters in the previous novel were not particularly likable, either, but there was one very likable character. I'm looking forward to reading what you think of Maledicte!Kristenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01700004253248186101noreply@blogger.com
